Italy requires TOLC or SAT for some courses and TOLC is the test which is more popular than SAT in Italy. One's acceptance to an Italian university is usually dependent on TOLC/SAT score if it is required.
TOLC - The On Line CISIA is a test administrated online in one of the university centers that participate to the TOLC. It is possible to take it in Italian or English language.
What are the various types of TOLC test in English and what subjects they contain?
It has been possible to take TOLC exam in English since 2018 and there are 3 types English TOLC currently available.
English TOLC – I consists of following areas: Mathematics, Logical Reasoning, Sciences and Reading Comprehension.
English TOLC – E consists of following areas: Logical Reasoning, Reading Comprehension and Mathematics.
English TOLC - F consists of following areas: Biology, Chemistry, Mathematics, Physics and Logic.
Where can I take TOLC test?
It is possible to take the TOLC test online from home and student has to register on the CISIA webpage. Then, the student can choose the home format with the name of the university and the date to take the exam. If the student is in Italy, he/she can take the online test in the university center which is partner of TOLC.
