Everybody is talking about the opportunities, but every coin has two sides. So, let's talk about my mistakes during college application.

1⃣Taking actions lately❌

Beging researching as early as possible. During your application process you're required to make moves faster, every day is on countdown. For example, do some volunteer work, take part in olympiads both nationally and internationally, just try to fill your resume with good extracurricular activites.

2⃣Applying for as much college as possible❌

Logically you have to study only one of them that you're admitted, right? So, why on earth you should apply for too many colleges?! Instead, you can find and research colleges you yourself are passionate about, decide what major you want to study and find a university that best suits you. And additionally, you can apply for some generous scholarships that can help you later on. Ozgina sozgina)

3⃣Believing in too many nonsense scholarships❌

I received like more than a million dollar scholarships. Guess what? Now I am about to study at one university that didn't give me any amount of money. Can you believe that? That's true. Be more realistic and act smart. Do not forget that those generous-look scholarships can cover all your expenses. Big no.

4⃣Paying attention to only one application and applying it to every one of them❌

So, every college admission varies, every university has their own "taste". If you do the same thing to every one of them, you can lose some opportunities because you're not treating them well, considering their every aspect. Treat them well and then take you actions.
