It has been 3 month since I graduated foundation course and I am going to share about it.

First, I would like to write about foundation course briefly. It is a course offered by some Italian universities to provide students with 12th year of education. During the course, they prepare students to study bachelor's degree in Italy.

At Sapienza, online Italian language classes start in October and we should arrive in Rome in November. From 2nd of November, offline Italian language classes start. During the next 3 month, Italian language is held for students. I can say learning Italian language is not going to be hard because of the lessons. The lessons are fun and full of activities to do and the mentors are friendly and supportive.

After language classes, student should choose one of 3 classes, Natural Sciences, Social Sciences or Human Sciences. All 3 classes are taught in Italian from February to May. It is the thing that makes it hard to follow mentors. Personally, I struggled a lot during the class I took, Natural Sciences. Assignment and materials are available in both languages, English and Italian, on the university website which students get access once they are enrolled. Also, you can attend to Italian language classes, but it is optional. Even though, classes are in Italian, on the exam paper, English language is available.

Then, preparatory classes for TOLC and IMAT examination starts from May or June(dependson the classes student chose). Student can choose one of 4 classes, Applied Sciences, Management Sciences, Clinical Sciences or Human Sciences. These classes are also in Italian, but exam is in both Italian and English languages.

Overall, foundation course at Sapienza can be challenging for some. It is up to person to choose study in Italy or in Uzbekistan for a year and then apply to study 3 years of bachelor's degree. I don't regret studying this course, but I recommend to study in Uzbekistan because tuition fee of the course is usually costs expensive for the most of students from Uzbekistan.
