Hi there! My name is Elzodxon, and I plan to write here every week about my college life. Most people know that I dropped out of college four years ago and started my career as a front-end developer at UIC Group. In 2023, I tried to apply to US colleges and got into some of them. Unfortunately, I couldn't get my US Visa. Okay, that is another story. Let's focus on College life at American University in Tashkent.

How it all happened?

Firstly, my mentor Alisher aka Tojiyev sent a post about AUT Tashkent on Instagram and I said, I was going to try for it. But, after a while, I forgot about it. And, while I was scrolling through Instagram, the post about AUT got my attention and I started applying for it. I got all my docs and essays from Common App and submitted them. By the way, I applied here, because their Instagram page reminded me of US university first and their website is incredible! I loved their website, it was very helpful and I got all the information about the university. Do you know what is the difference between a US university and a Uzbekistan university? Most Uzbek Universities' websites are created for showing someone not for their students. All information and curriculum are provided on the website of AUT. I loved it and I applied for it! By the way, I am studying Software Engineering at the American University of Technology.

First Week.

It all started from here. You know what, it felt amazing to be a student here. Firstly, If you enter to the campus, you can easily feel that you are at the American University of Technology. I am gonna attach the Campus picture below.

Orientation day was great! We got our swags, we met with our fellows, professors, rectors, and campus of course! We introduced campus, rules, and so on. We had coffee breaks to get to know students each other. I had discussions with multiple professors. Especially, Dr.Kahlid, Dr.Parween, Dr.Barbara, Professor Mukhabbat, and others. We discussed the curriculum, university, and hobbies.
